Counseling Services- General Outpatient
At MYFS, we offer counseling services that can greatly help those who need it through a variety of treatment styles through Licensed Behavioral Health Providers, Rehab Specialists and/or Master’s level Interns who provide recovery oriented, culturally competent, and trauma informed services. Family involvement in therapy is encouraged and provided as deemed appropriate. Counseling services can often help our clients identify the cause of the symptoms they face and help them down a road to wellness. Service Modalities are based on accepted practices in the mental health field and are supported by one or more of the following: research, evidence-based practices, field recognition, or published practices guidelines. We serve children aged 6-17 with our counseling services.
CARS Services- Clients at Risk
Our CARS services provide counseling and rehabilitation to youth and their families who are referred by the Juvenile Services Unit. Goals and objectives are developed by the Client/Consumer and incorporate the services stated on the juvenile’s individual service plan provided by the Juvenile Service worker.
CARS treatment consists of evidenced-based outpatient therapy services driven by an Office of Juvenile Affairs approved plan, which addresses the therapeutic needs of youth who have committed law violations. Referrals are made by the youth’s Juvenile Service’s worker.
VOCA Counseling- Victims of Crime
The purpose of this array of services is to lessen the effects of psychological and developmental trauma among victims of child abuse, neglect, bullying and/or other violent acts. Individual, group, and family therapeutic services are provided by Licensed Behavioral Health Professionals youth ages 10 through 18.
Project Moore Hope
Project Moore Hope is an array of services available for those impacted by the May 20, 2013 tornado and other disasters affecting the Moore area.
