·         Moore Youth and Family Services welcomes Senator Darrell Weaver.

On December 8, 2021, Executive Director, Lisa Williams had the opportunity to visit with Senator Darrell Weaver and give him a tour of the facility where he met with staff and students of our MAST program.

·         Moore Youth and Family Services welcomes Representative Kevin West

On December 10, 2021 Executive Director, Lisa Williams also had the opportunity to visit with another Legislator, Representative Kevin West, and he too enjoyed a tour of the facility and met with staff and students of our MAST program.

Constanzia Nizza, Office of Juvenile Affairs Chief of Staff and Moore Resident, was able to join us for both visits.

·         Annual Shop with a Cop Event

On December 11, 2021 Moore Police Department teamed up with a few Moore Youth and Family select clients and their families to Christmas shopping at Target. The day begins at Moore Police Department with breakfast furnished by Chick-fil-A. After breakfast, a convoy from MPD to Target where each child is given $200 to shop alongside a Moore Police Officer. Additionally, each child is given a commemorative coin. 

·         Moore 4 Christmas

Moore 4 Christmas charitable organization donated food and toys to select clients and their families.  

November 2021

·         Moore Youth and Family Services wishes to acknowledge the Men of Moore Foundation.

We are honored to be the recipients of the coat drive orchestrated by The Men of Moore Foundation. There will be more warm bodies and hearts because of this generous donation. They also donated turkeys that will make an extra special holiday for those recipients.

February 2022

·         Moore Youth and Family Services wishes to acknowledge Men of Moore Foundation once again for their generous donation of $710. This donation will go towards the MAST program.

May 2022 

•           Moore Youth and Family Services welcomes Representative Mark McBride. 

On May 13, 2022, Executive Director, Lisa Williams had the pleasure of welcoming Representative Mark McBride and his dog Cali to the agency.  The staff and youth from the MAST program had the opportunity to visit with Rep. McBride and appreciate him taking the time to share his thoughts and learn more about the work we do in the community.

August 2022

·         Moore Youth and Family Services welcomes donated school supplies.

As part of the FILL THE BUS drive, the Moore Chamber of Commerce donated and delivered school supplies for the MAST program. Thank you!

Lisa Williams, Executive Director represented Moore Youth & Family Services by attending the Moore Chamber of Commerce Day at the Capitol – May Networking Lunch. This was a chance to meet with state and local legislators while sharing the agency’s story and the importance of supporting businesses in the community. ss story and the importance of supporting businesses in the community.
